We were pleased to participate in this year’s Imperial College London Student Drug Research Network (SDRN) Conference, which featured a range of insightful student presentations, interdisciplinary discussions, and networking opportunities.
Organized by Fouzia Haneef Khan, Yiling G., Yue Qin, Amin Izadyar, and others from the SDRN committee, the event brought together researchers and students from various fields. We were glad to present the projects and capabilities of the Drug Discovery Hub and contribute to discussions on advancements in drug discovery.
The conference also featured talks by:
Viacheslav Trush and Benedikt Hölbling from the LMS/Imperial Drug Discovery Hub, who gave the opening presentation.
Chuanzi Yue, Research Associate in Health Economics at Imperial, who discussed healthcare economics.
Sarah C., Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, who shared insights on drug discovery developments.
Mike Romanos, Faculty of Medicine Associate Dean for Enterprise at Imperial College, who delivered a keynote address on drug research and enterprise.
We look forward to future collaborations and continued progress of the SDRN!

Great post — really inspiring to see the energy and innovation at the SDRN conference! As someone considering student life in the UK, I also wonder about student accommodation in London — especially if you plan to attend events like this. Would love to hear any tips or recommendations from other students about good housing options near Imperial College London.
